My name is Anna and I was born in Kiev, Ukraine. I moved to Brooklyn, New York when I was only one year old. I Speak English as my first language, and Russian as my second. Even though I moved out of Ukraine at a very young age, I am still able to speak very good Russian. I was in school vocal programs from 4th - 9th grade. One school musical I have been in is called "Bye Bye Birdie".
During my sophomore year in high school, I had a very inspiring English teacher for public speaking. He loved Broadway plays and would always sing to his students during class. He opened my eyes to acting. I took a few Shakespeare classes in high school and read "Macbeth" and "Hamlet". They both would always put me in such a mind set where I can imagine myself being the ambitious Lady Macbeth, or the emotional Ophelia and reading their lines in front of an audience. I want to become an actress and be able to maybe one day read their lines.

When I was in junior high school, I got 2 awards. One for community services and other for vocal talent in the music program that I was in.

For sports, I love playing volleyball and handball. I used to play volleyball for a league as the position of a libero( center position of the back row). I love to dance and used to take ballroom dancing classes. When I was around 10 years old, I took Ballet, Tap, and Jazz classes, and when I was around 14, learned Rumba, Cha-cha, and Samba. I stopped taking dance classes because of my busy school work, but would still have a little fun at home dancing my routines. At the moment, I don't attend dance or volleyball. I work on my body and spend many hours at the gym. I love to run, so most of the time I'm on the treadmill. I don't run too fast, but when it comes to track & field class in my school, I can outrun almost every other female and more than half the males.

I've dreamed of becoming an actress and walking down the red carpet for so many years now. When I was younger, it seemed like that could never happen, but I never stopped dreaming. I would love to see a movie where I have the lead role and have the biggest opening weekend at the box office. now if only that dream can become reality... : )
